With summer now in full swing, a number of Divine 9 courses have special offerings for ladies looking for some golfing fun. This season Carson Valley Golf Course offers Thursday afternoon 50-minute clinics designed just for women of all skill levels. It’s just $10 and pre-registration is required. The lessons may come in handy, especially if you’re into league play. Carson Valley has also developed its own Women’s Golf Club, which plays Tuesday mornings through October. 775-265-3181.
At Genoa Lakes, ladies can join the Genoa Lakes Ladies’ Golf Club (even if they aren’t a member). The club is available for women golfers who want to establish and maintain handicaps and participate in weekly tournaments. Weekly “Ladies’ Day” events are offered Tuesday mornings through October at the Genoa Lakes Golf Club’s Lakes or Resort Course. 775-790-9108.

Back by popular demand, the Golfing Girls Clinics returns to Dayton Valley Golf Club. Join Head Professional Rick Vaughan on a couple Thursdays a month (check calendar) for a 1/2 hour of instruction, a couple holes of golf, appetizers and a complimentary drink in the clubhouse after golf.
